The VR Porn project is a niche website focused on providing immersive adult content. Initially, it faced challenges such as low organic traffic, limited visibility in search engines, and a lack of optimized content and backlinks, which hindered its growth in a competitive market.
The primary goal of the project was to increase the website’s visibility in search engines, drive higher organic traffic, and establish a stronger presence in the competitive VR adult content niche. By addressing technical SEO issues, creating engaging content, and building a robust backlink profile, the project aimed to significantly enhance the website’s performance and user reach.
In December 2022, the website ranked for 706 organic keywords. Throughout 2023, our efforts focused on content creation and optimization, which resulted in steady growth, reaching 1,537 keywords by the end of the year. With the launch of intensive off-site strategies in 2024, the number of organic keywords surged to 4,562 by December 2024, representing a total increase of 546%. This growth highlights the impact of our combined on-site and off-site SEO efforts.
The referring domains for the website showed significant improvement over the project duration. Starting with 270 domains in December 2022, this number grew modestly to 651 by the end of 2023 as we prioritized on-site improvements. In 2024, we intensified link-building activities, leading to a sharp rise in referring domains to 1,188 by December 2024. This marks an overall growth of 340%, demonstrating the effectiveness of our targeted off-site campaigns.
Over the course of the project, the website’s organic traffic surged from 6.531 to an impressive 24.230 monthly sessions, marking a growth of approximately 272%. This remarkable increase reflects the impact of strategic technical optimizations, targeted content creation, and effective link-building efforts.
